Property Description

Get ready for your off-grid adventure! This cabin is located on the La Sal Mountains just 45 miles away from downtown Moab. With room for 4 people, this is a great cabin to enjoy everything Moab has to offer while staying away from the crowds.

Property Details

This cabin sits in the trees on the La Sal Mountains and is perfect for couples or families that love to see the sites but want to be away from it all. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax, or if you want to explore, hiking to the fully stocked trout\steelhead pond in the valley below or on the 4 miles of trails through the canyon along the creek.

You will LOVE the amazing Tree House available for your use, 30 feet in the air which offers truly spectacular views!! With downtown Moab a short drive away, you are never going to run out of things to do while staying here. This cabin is situated central to Arches and Canyonlands/Needles National Parks along with many other local attractions. Also, there are ATV and Mountain Biking trails in the area that are accessible from the ranch.

There is a full kitchen with all the cookware needed to provide a great meal. The bedroom features a queen bed with two sleeping mats (please bring blankets or sleeping bags for the mats). The bathroom features a full soaking tub with a separate shower. The power for the cabin is provided by solar so please, no curling irons or blow dryers. Electric frying pans and crocks pots won’t be available as well. And please be aware that as part of your off-grid experience at times there might be power outages as weather conditions or other issues might cause problems with the system. These problems are rare and are usually quickly resolved, backup generators are available if necessary.

As mentioned, cell phone service is limited in this area, but it might be possible to make calls at various locations on the ranch depending on your carrier. Verizon seems to be the best carrier option and you can usually get a decent signal at the gate to the resort just a short distance from the cabins. Because of our remote location, we do not offer WiFi or Cable. Also, be aware that you will need to drive up a gravel road of about 4 miles after turning off the highway and then drive up a dirt road less than a mile to the cabins. Most cars can handle the drive with no problems, 4wd is not necessary however cars with low clearances are not recommended and conditions will vary after rains and snows.

During your stay you will likely see our ranch dog Leah who wanders the ranch keeping an eye on things and will be checking in on you periodically and will try her best to wheedle a munchie from you.

Additional cabins are available on the same ranch if you have friends or family that would like to join you.

This property has 1 Queen(s), 2 Single(s).

Amazing views! Cozy cabin and a great, warm shower!! Will definitely be back again!
Very relaxing, perfect stay by Sebastien 11/10/2019
The cabin is the perfect place to relaxing..just enjoy the view and the quiet. The house is fully equiped and clean. You can enjoy the surrondings, and Moab is only at 45 minutes. Highly recommanded.
Fun off the grid! by Frederick 11/10/2019
Fun off the grid location! Plan ahead as there are no gas stations or grocery stores in the vicinity - load up in Moab. Great location to be able to explore the east side of La Sal - easy access to the biking trail - the whole enchilada
Great place with great views. by Nelson James 11/10/2019
Great place with great views.
We had an excellent stay here! by Aubrey 11/10/2019
We had an excellent stay at Wolf Springs! It is very remote but that is what makes it so serene and lovely to stay at. It is about a 45-50 minute drive from Moab which goes by quick with the beautiful scenery, but do keep that in mind when you're booking. Waking up to the sun coming over the hills was breathtaking and enjoying a cup of coffee while out on the front porch was fantastic. The cabin is really clean, has a refrigerator, stove/oven, sink, and coffee maker. This was awesome as we brought things for breakfast and lunches. It also had a big, comfy bed which was nice after long day of hiking.
Truly off the grid by Linda 11/10/2019
If you want to be “off the grid completely” for peace and quiet this is the place.
Nice clean place with gorgeous views! by Lorenzo 11/10/2019
Nice, clean place with gorgeous views. Secluded and very quiet. Small, but cozy and well stocked
Cozy and comfortable by Elise 11/10/2019
The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed our stay. Driving all the gravel roads to get there (several not recognized by GPS) was challenging
We loved it here! by Lesley 11/10/2019
This cabin was perfect for my husband and I but could fit more people if needed. Gorgeous views from the big windows and balcony. It was a little over an hour from Moab but we figured it was worth the drive to get away from people. Google maps does not take you to the address, Apple maps got us close and then a neighbor helped us the rest of the way. Get groceries or go out to eat in Moab as there is nothing close by. We saw two little bear cubs in the morning on our way out which was awesome! Cute bed quilt and nice furniture, huge shower, we loved it here!
The place was awesome! by Christine & Gary 11/10/2019
The place was awesome! Views were spectacular and proximity to area attractions was good

Book it now! Don't wait! by Alicia 11/10/2019
Wow! If you are on the fence about this place BOOK IT NOW! If not just for the breathtaking sunrise/sunset from the balcony. This cabin was perfect for a relaxing off the grid stay and the hosts added so many thoughtful touches. Will absolutely be back!
A great place to unwind! by William 11/10/2019
This is a great place to stay if you want to unplug and relax
One of our favorite places!! by Barbara 11/10/2019
This place was one of our favorite places to stay. If you want to get “off the grid,” enjoy beautiful views, and star gaze at the top of a mountain, then this place is for you. We got up at sunrise to enjoy the view over a hot cup of coffee, and stepped out to be greeted by a mule deer just a few yards away. Very comfortable and peaceful place...well worth the drive!
More than perfect, peaceful and serene! by Priscilla 09/15/2019
Off the grid for sure. It was so peaceful and so serene. The place was spotless! Highly recommend if you’re looking for peace and quiet and to untether yourself from social media!
