Very cool place; would stay here again!
Will be coming back! by Christophe 09/12/2018
Great location if you want to visit the different sites, would definitely come back again in the future.
My favorite AirBnB! by Eric 09/12/2018
My favorite Airbnb. Very unique. Best night of sleep I got on my trip. If I get the chance I will be coming back.
A great experience! by Andrew 09/12/2018
Overall a great experience! Quick communication, detailed instructions, and a clean and cute space. Will definitely stay again when passing through. If I could change anything, I would increase the water pressure in the shower a little, but it was still good (nice to have the soap, shampoo and the conditioner right there!)
Fun little wagon! by Warren 09/12/2018
Fun little wagon! Very clean and cozy, the bathrooms were right next to us and we had everything we needed.
It was adorable!! by Hannah 09/12/2018
The sheep wagon was so sweet! We arrived in the evening and were able to relax on the cute little front porch and watch the deer roam. The showers and restrooms were super hot and clean! Check in was easy and we enjoyed our privacy. Thank you so much, Jerry!
Thanks!! by Christoph 09/12/2018
Nice location. Good tips from the host. Thanks for the link to D's adventure for horseback riding. Was nice. Thank you
A great night here! by Jeffrey 09/12/2018
“Canyonlands Lodging - Western Wagon Review I stayed one night in the "Western Wagon" at Canyonlands Lodging. I essentially showed up and slept, as I was arriving late and leaving early. This review is specific to only the parts of Canyonlands Lodging that I used - the Western Wagon and the adjacent bath house. The Western Wagon is a small little cabin comprised of a corrugated metal roof and sides upon a wooden frame. It was really unique and well made. The furnishings and decor were minimalistic but also nicely done and well thought out. The bath house is bigger than the Western Wagon, but it also very comfortable and usable. The owners' corrugated metal theme is on display here -- inside and out. You can tell they have a good sense of style while emphasizing practicality and comfort. The Western Wagon was the perfect size for me (or perhaps up to 2 people), as summer monsoon rains were pounding SE Utah when I arrived. I was very happy to not have to pitch a tent in the rain. Finding a good deal on a place to sleep in this part of Utah during the high season can be tricky and/or require extended advance planning; I was very happy to find Canyonlands Lodging and slept very well in a very nice bed with lots of blankets. This was especially luxurious, considering I spent the entire week before that in a tent. I plan on visiting Canyonlands Lodging the next time I am in the area and would recommend it based on what I have experienced. Perhaps in the future I will have time to look around the property and take more advantage of the amenities they have to offer! One final note, Jerry was very helpful by sending the coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the ranch so I could enter them into my hiking GPS in order to navigate there because of a misbehaving smartphone.”
A great glamping adventure! by Toni 09/12/2018
If you are looking for a glamping experience and don't have any of your own gear, then this is perfect for you! We only stayed one night but wish we could've stayed longer. The wagon was very cozy and Jerry even brought us a fan because it was a little warm when we got there but it cooled down when the sun went down. Bath/shower house was extremely clean and nice. And the kitchen, picnic table area, and fire pit area was a great touch... especially if you want to meet some of your "neighbors"
Cute, all amenities, Dark Sky! by Kery 09/04/2018
I booked this place for one night to start off an 11 day camping trip in Utah. This was one of our favorite spots. We originally booked a cabin, but the bunk beds don't have railings and with two kids we thought the Western Wagon would be better. It was no problem to switch since I did it the same or very next day. The Western Wagon was awesome. The inside is all wooden and there is a bed with a curtain dividing it from an entry way that has two benches with futon mattresses on either side. Sleeps four comfortable. The Wagon has electricity and wi-fi, but no heat. Plenty of blankets, but we were there in June so it wasn't really a factor. The bathrooms which are shared among the lodgers are clean and actually nicer than most three star hotel bathrooms. They had wooden floors, nice sinks, and even dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The hosts provided towels and wash cloths. There was a covered pavilion with tables for eating, a large grill, and a very functional kitchen with two fridges. The fire ring is large and meant for all to use together, but we were there in a dry spell and there was a fire ban. I would definitely stay here again. Really a very charming place. The night sky was beautiful.
Easy, convenient and fun! by Elizabeth 06/13/2018
“Awesome stay after several long days hiking the Utah wilderness. Easy, convenient, and fun
Kid friendly, beautiful location by Sarah 06/13/2018
Kid friendly, beautiful location, just what we expected.”
Cute wagon theme by Jordan 06/13/2018
Cute wagon theme, very cozy, though the blankets were definitely needed for the cold at night. Shared kitchen and bathroom were both very clean, very conveniently located by the wagon, and had everything we needed to feel at home.
Cute, quaint, and right off the highway. by Elizabeth 06/13/2018
Cute, quaint, and right off the highway. Bathrooms were super clean and water was nice and hot which was wonderful in the chilly morning. Definitely would love to come back!”
Awesome glamping experience! by Ana 06/13/2018
Awesome glamping experience! The wagon was super cute and the bed was really comfortable. It gets a bit cold at night but the blankets are super warm and cozy and there are tons of blankets. The showers and bathroom were really nice for a campground and soap and towels were provided. We got in really late and everything was ready for us, all we had to do was drive up to the wagon, so checkin was really easy! All in all it was a great experience, we really loved staying there.
The wagon had everything I needed by Lena 05/25/2018
My only complaint is the bed. There was a dirty sheet beneath a clean one. Other than that everything was amazing. The kitchen was convenient, the bathroom was really nice and the wagon had everything I needed (especially a fly swatter to kill a wasp
Loved our stay! by Jessica 05/25/2018
What an amazing area- easy to find, great views, beautiful kitchen/restroom. Loved our stay
Highly recommend to anyone by Madeline 05/25/2018
After spending a full day at Arches National Park, Jerry’s cabin was the perfect place to rest and recover. The directions to the cabin were so easy to follow, and they had everything ready for us when we got there. It was beautiful, and private. On our way out, Jerry gave several wonderful recommendations of places to stop and see. Highly recommend to anyone.”
Nice glamping experience. by Oliver 05/25/2018
Pictures and description was accurate. Nice glamping experience for a reasonable price!
Incredibly unique! by Anthony 05/10/2018
The wagon is incredibly unique, convenient and an amazing value. We loved our stay in this rad space. It's located super close to the bathrooms (heated shower and toilet rooms) and the kitchen/patio/fire pit. A must stay for the area
Camping feel by Varun 05/10/2018
The place is quite secluded and the location shown is taking me at some other place nearby. Definitely not recommended if you are gonna drive and check in late. Though Jerry answered my call very late and directed me very precisely. A big thanks to him for this. The place was quite cold at night but if you feel like having a camping feel, will definitely recommend
Cozy cabin. by Lori 05/01/2018
Cozy cabin. The real luxury was the access to the kitchen and covered pavilion.
We cannot wait to come back again!! by Michael 05/01/2018
My wife and I spent the evening in the Western Wagon during a short road trip. Everything about it was prefect. We arrived later than we intended and Jerry had the light on for us in preparation. The wagon is a cozy little space. The low during the evening was 47F and it was perfect sleep temperature with the blankets and the hot water bottles. The bed itself was very comfortable too. The heated bathroom was also great and it was nice to have a hot shower before getting in the car for another day of driving. There is also a binder with local food, sites and even one day intinery ideas. It is in a great local to see many different parks. I would highly recommend the Western Wagon and we cannot wait to come back again and stay for longer!
What a fun treat this wagon was! by MountainMom 05/01/2018
What a fun treat this wagon was! Gorgeous location in the midst of Utah's beautiful parks, canyons and plateaus. The host was very responsive and helpful. We stayed in this spot to save money, since we were short on funds, and it was very much like camping. It rained the night we stayed, so we were glad for a metal roof to stay dry, even though the temperature was much the same as it would be in a tent. Hosts provided hot water bottles and many blankets for warmth, and the bathroom is just a short walk away, with a nice heater for showers and changing. I think this would be considered "glamping". We enjoyed it, and would do it again.w Review
Nice cute place for getaway by Yanping 04/12/2018
Nice cute place for getaway, little bit cold at night time . Good for family and group!
Such a cute little wagon cabin! by Melanie 04/06/2018
Such a cute little wagon cabin. Be sure to dress and prepare for the cold as if you are camping, since there is no heat, and it's a little walk to the bathroom in the dark. Bathroom is heated, though, so it's a nice refuge.
This place is a must! by Alex 04/03/2018
This place is a must! Took a 10 day road trip around Az, Ut, and Co. Glamping here was at the top of the list for experiences of the trip. The views are amazing, properties are clean and cozy, bathrooms are extremely clean and did I mention the views!
nice area and very clean. by Kamara Robideau 10/03/2017
The western wagon was a little smaller than expected and overpriced. But it was in a nice area and very clean.
Nice and Secluded by Chelsea Takemo 06/02/2017
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Western Wagon! We were so impressed with how cute and comfortable it was. It was very clean, secluded, and we enjoyed getting to observe local wildlife. The bathrooms were really nice as well and the heater in there was a nice touch as we showered at night and it got chilly. The location is nice and secluded, but if you do decide that you want to head to town for food, Monticello was a short drive away. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.
Cool Place! by Adam 05/24/2017
Quiet glamping spot with great views.

This Western Covered Wagon is absolutely cute and beautiful. You will LOVE the western decor in this two bedroom wagon. The Queen bed in the bedroom is very nice, and the 2 Twin Beds in the front of the wagon are perfect for children or adults. You will love the seclusion and privacy of the Canyonlands Lodging Guest Ranch, and the very nice Bath and Shower House, and the Full Kitchen for your use. The activities of hiking and sight seeing are amazing and the night sky viewing is out of this world, literally! Hope to see you at "The Wagon" soon!
