Please note that due to the potential for extreme weather during the winter, this property is booked with the understanding by the guests booking it, that is at your own risk and can be cancelled at any time. If we feel that it is too risky for guests to stay with us we will cancel the reservation at any time!

This Gorgeous Winter Cabin sits nestled in the trees near the La Sal Mountains and is perfect for couples or families that love to see the beautiful sites of winter, and want to be away from it all. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax, or if you want to ski, snowshoe or snowmobile there are miles of roads, trails and open beautiful mountain country.

You will LOVE the amazing Tree House available for your use, 30 feet in the air which offers truly spectacular views!! With downtown Moab a short drive away, you are never going to run out of things to do while staying here. This cabin is situated central to Arches and Canyonlands/Needles National Parks along with many other local attractions. If you would like to see a 3-D tour of the property click here: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=i7K8jGpYQbZ

There is a full kitchen with all the cookware. The bedroom features a queen bed with a leather sofa sleeper. The power for the cabin is provided by solar. And please be aware that as part of your off-grid experience at times there might be power outages as weather conditions or other issues might cause problems with the system. These problems are rare and are usually quickly resolved, backup generators are available if necessary.

Cell phone service is limited, but it might be possible to make calls at various locations on the ranch. Verizon seems to be the best carrier option and you can usually get a decent signal at the cabins. Because of our remote location, there isn't WiFi.

During your stay you will likely see our ranch dog Leah who wanders the ranch keeping an eye on things and will be checking in on you periodically and will try her best to wheedle a munchie from you.

Additional cabins are available on the same ranch if you have friends or family that would like to join you for up to 20 people.

This property has 1 Queen(s), 2 Single(s).

Brand new cabin! by Jameson 06/12/2019
This is NOT a review of "Majestic View Mountain Cabin," because there were electrical problems there, so Jerry graciously moved us to Cabin #4 at the Wolf Creek Springs resort, just a quarter of a mile down the road. Cabin 4 is brand new and it isn't listed on Airbnb yet, so my review will have to be posted here. Cabin 4 is very isolated, about 50 yards down its own road. The roof of cabin 3 is visible in the corner of the front sliding door, but otherwise the many large windows look out on unbroken scrub oak and cliffrose bushes. Which is good, because the windows don't have any blinds or drapes. The setup of Cabin 4 is similar to the other three cabins, except there is a large shower stall in place of the bathtub, heat is provided by two gas-fed space heaters (we didn't use them), and the porch/deck is covered (bad for star-gazing but good for storing our mountain bikes). Our cut-rate wireless provider piggybacks on the T-mobile network, and we had to go all the way to the junction with 191 to get cell service, about 25 minutes from the cabin. We had no issues with running out of electricity, and the kitchen/pantry were well-stocked, especially considering we were the first guests in the new cabin. Overall, we really liked the cabin itself and the seclusion, but since all of our biking, jeeping and other activities were in or north of Moab we spent a LOT of time "commuting." That's the trade-off for escaping the craziness of downtown Moab.
