Great space and super-friendly hosts by Luke 07/10/2018
Great space, super-friendly hosts and waaay off the beaten path. If you’re exploring wicked far southern Utah, this is a great option. While the individual rooms in the barn offer privacy, be prepared to hear every sound and footstep that your fellow renters make, day or night. Very communal arrangement.
What a cozy accomodation! by Season & Garth 07/10/2018
What a cozy accommodation, perfect for a trip to Canyonlands or Arches. The hosts were very welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh baked muffins in our room upon arrival. The barn was stylish and a great way for someone used to city comforts to enjoy country life. Our one and a half year old loved the playground and surrounding areas. Thank you so much, we definitely would stay here again
Jerry's place was absolutely delightful! by Emily 07/10/2018
Jerry's place was absolutely delightful. I saw the pics before we arrived but didn't believe that a converted horse stable could be so comfortable. The amount of work Jerry and his wife have done to make these lodgings welcoming is clear in every detail. Would highly recommend!
Great place! by Luann 07/10/2018
Great place. Would get warm /hot late afternoon/ evening but cooled off nice for sleeping. Plus Jerry brought us a fan on request. Sat with us and gave us good advice on where to go.
Love, love, love this place! by Stacy and Ryan 07/10/2018
Love, love, love this place! Very special place built, furnished and decorated with so much TLC!”
Everything I needed! by Peter 07/10/2018
I highly recommend spending a night (or more) at the barn at Canyonlands Lodging. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. They even left a piece of banana nut bread that made for a great breakfast. This is the perfect place to stay while visiting the national parks. I hope to be back again at some point in the future
The duke cabin in the barn was fantastic! by Whitney 05/24/2018
The duke cabin in the barn was fantastic! I was traveling through on a cross-country road trip with a friend and this was an excellent place to stop while visiting canyonlands and arches. The cabin is 1 of 3 units within the entire barn. the first night we had the whole place to ourselves and the second night we had very friendly visitors. We could hardly tell the other visitors were there except we did have a great time with them sitting by the fire outside. My dog absolutely loved staying on the property and we saw a ton of deer. Our favorite part was grilling outside- really you could bring anything as the barn is equipped with a full kitchen. thanks, Jerry
The Duke room was awesome! by Carolyn 05/10/2018
If you are traveling the country and looking for the unusual and fun, out of the norm accommodations, then the Horse Barn at Canyonlands Lodging is the place to be. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about staying in a barn, however, the Duke room was awesome. I totally loved the space, large bedroom with comfy king side bed, awesome decor, soft fluffy towels, baked goods and water and a great book regarding things to do and see. All the unique touches made our stay very memorable
Clean and comfortable! by John 05/01/2018
Wonderful space clean nice and comfortable. Double check the map and directions to make sure you know your way there, as there is minimal cell service out in the area
Private and quiet location by Susie 04/24/2018
Jerry the caretaker on site was very responsive and kind. The photo made me think we were getting a room with a separate bedroom from the other living space and so i wrote him through Abnb and he came to our room within 15 minutes and offered us the larger room for half of the upgrade price. This is a private and quiet location, we grilled one night and had a firepit fire. They were adding a full communal kitchen when we were there, so that should be done soon and looked great! Great spot, Id return again.”
